Modernizing an Integrative Therapy Brand with Strategic Website & Logo Design

Website redesign for Jacob L. Cooper, featuring a modern, SEO-optimized layout that highlights his integrative therapy, mindfulness work, speaking engagements, and mind–body approach. This project focused on clarity, authority, and user experience to support client engagement and brand growth.

Project Overview

Jacob approached me seeking a comprehensive refresh of both his logo and website. He was open to a meaningful evolution of his brand — one that would better reflect his shift toward a more integrated, mind–body therapeutic approach.

Following our initial strategy conversation, I developed a curated mood board to establish the visual direction. To modernize the brand, we moved away from the existing pink and blue palette and introduced a more grounded, sophisticated color story. Deep navy paired with dark and soft greens created a sense of stability and professionalism, while light tan and off-white neutrals added warmth and balance.

The website structure was refined while maintaining continuity through existing imagery. I designed a new hero section with updated introductory messaging to clearly communicate Jacob’s integrative therapy focus and position him with greater clarity and authority.

Logo Evolution

Jacob’s original logo incorporated a ladder forming the “L” in his name — a meaningful symbol within his brand identity. Rather than eliminate this motif, I chose to reinterpret it in a more refined and contemporary way.

The ladder was simplified into subtle horizontal rungs that form an arrow. This preserved the symbolism of growth and progression while creating a cleaner, more versatile mark. The result is a logo that feels intentional, modern, and aligned with his evolved professional direction.
