Transformational Journey to Wellness
Transformational Journey to Wellness
The journey of a new business
As with most projects, I started with the logo. Why? Your logo is typically the first thing people see and the main visual that stays with them. Client input is very valuable during this process. Often the end result is something I wouldn’t have designed on my own without the client’s input. The client wanted the logo to evoke a journey. I came up with ideas that involved roadways and paths, eventually including a figure walking on a spiral path. As the color purple is closely associated with healing and wellness I used this color and gold to provide contrast. A hand-written font complimented the soft curved lines of the logo image.
Now that I had a color palette to work from, it was time to focus on the website. Client input was very helpful in finding the right images for use on the website. I presented three designs for the main image. Eventually, the client decided on an abstract image that worked with the colors of the logo and had a spiritual feel. It was important to the client to express the ideas of healing and wellness. I kept this in mind while looking for other images. Lots of white space, keeps the design clean and modern. The logo colors are used throughout the site.
