Kathie Lipinski, Healing from the Heart NY

A heartfelt redesign

This website was created for Kathie Lipinski a Holistic Nurse, Reiki Master Teacher, and Certified Hypnotist. Kathie had a website that was several years ago and was ready for a new online presence. The older site was looking dated and wasn’t responsive. There was an extensive amount of content. Between her services, classes and workshops much attention was given the the site’s organization. For the design, Kathie expressed that she wanted hearts and new images. She also wanted a soft color palette. The new website was built using WordPress. This allowed for implementation of a calendar of events. Eventually, a e-commerce feature will enable online payments.

I also redesigned Kathie’s logo which had originally been created by a friend of hers. I refined the cupping hands and made the heart an open design. A script typeface was used to keep a feminine feel.
